How volleyball games are played on Lineup

Volleyball on Lineup is played indoors as teams, and it is one of the harder sports to organise privately because a side needs six people who all turn up on the same evening.

Matches are best of five sets. The first four sets are played to twenty-five and the deciding fifth set is played to fifteen. The confirmed result is what moves your volleyball level.

What your volleyball level actually measures

Volleyball is the most positionally specialised sport on Lineup, so the assessment covers the full rally. It asks about your serve, your passing and digging, and whether you can approach and spike with the right timing rather than just height.

It also asks what a libero is. Anyone who has played indoor volleyball knows immediately, which makes it a quick check that a level is grounded in real games.
