Most people who play padel through Lineup arrive on their own. You take one open seat in a game and the rest of the roster fills around you. You do not need a partner, a side or a regular group, and you are not asked to bring anyone.
Matched to your level, not to whoever turned up
Lineup gives you a level from 0 to 7, to one decimal, specifically for padel. It is worked out from the results of the games you play rather than from how you rate yourself, and it moves every time you play. Each padel game publishes a level range, so before you join you already know the people on the other side are close to your standard.
Your padel level is separate from your level in every other sport. Being strong at one sport tells nobody how you play another, so the numbers are kept apart.
Where and how padel runs
Games are played as 2v2 doubles, at indoor and outdoor padel courts across Dubai including Al Quoz. Every listing shows the venue, the start time, the format, the entry cost and the level range before you commit to anything.
Padel is the busiest sport on Lineup. It is also where court slots move most: if you have booked a court and cannot use it, another player will take it.
Court and pitch bookings
Lineup does not book padel courts for you and does not operate a venue. What it does do is let players pass bookings between each other: if someone has booked a court or a pitch and cannot use it, they list the slot and another player takes it over. Nothing is wasted and nobody sits out.
