How tennis games are played on Lineup

Tennis on Lineup is played as singles or doubles on courts across Dubai. Doubles fills faster, because four people at a similar standard is an easier thing to assemble than two evenly matched singles players.

Matches are best of three sets. Each set is played to six games and must be won by two. The confirmed result is what moves your tennis level.

What your tennis level actually measures

The assessment concentrates on the three things that decide a social tennis match: how consistent your serve is, how reliable your groundstrokes are over a long rally, and whether you can volley at the net rather than avoiding it.

There is also a rules question, on what a let means when serving. It takes a second for anyone who plays and separates real experience from an optimistic self-assessment.
