Matched to your level, not to whoever turned up

Lineup gives you a level from 0 to 7, to one decimal, specifically for football. It is worked out from the results of the games you play rather than from how you rate yourself, and it moves every time you play. Each football game publishes a level range, so before you join you already know the people on the other side are close to your standard.

Your football level is separate from your level in every other sport. Being strong at one sport tells nobody how you play another, so the numbers are kept apart.

Games are played as five-a-side and seven-a-side, at pitches across Dubai including Al Quoz and Jumeirah Village Circle. Every listing shows the venue, the start time, the format, the entry cost and the level range before you commit to anything.

Court and pitch bookings

Lineup does not book venues for you. What it does do is let players pass bookings between each other: if someone has booked a court or a pitch and cannot use it, they list the slot and another player takes it over. Nothing is wasted and nobody sits out.
